Skipper Joe's Newfoundland Fish Batter:
- 1/2 bag batter mix
- 4 cod or halibut fillets
- 1 cup light beer or milk
- Oil for frying
Mix batter with 1 cup of light beer of choice. (Beer can be
substituted for 1 cup milk) Dry each piece of fish on paper towel. Dip in batter.
Deep fry in hot oil. Cooking times vary depending on fish type and size.
